Solutions · Treatments & Prevention

Barriers, not blanket chemicals.

Most of the protection comes from physical measures. Here is what each one actually does — and what it does not.

Treated · WHO standards

Long-lasting insecticidal nets

A bed net is the single most effective barrier against night-biting mosquitoes. The nets we support are built to WHO standards and compliant with the EU Biocidal Products Regulation.

Stops bites while you sleep and reduces local biting pressure.
Not a force field — it protects the person under it, not the whole room.
Untreated

Window & door screens

Fine mesh on openings keeps mosquitoes out of living spaces with no chemicals at all. Untreated — purely a physical barrier.

Keeps indoor spaces bite-free with good ventilation.
Only works if intact and well-fitted; carries no chemical or WHO claim.
Untreated

Patio gazebo, head nets & the Igloo

Outdoor barrier products — a netted gazebo for dining, head nets for the field, and the Igloo enclosure. All untreated: fabric and mesh, no insecticide.

Creates bite-free outdoor and travel spaces mechanically.
No chemical, biocidal or WHO claim — protection is physical only.
Method

Source reduction & drainage

Mosquitoes breed in standing water. Tipping out saucers, clearing gutters and draining containers removes the nursery before adults ever emerge.

Cuts local populations at the source, cheaply and safely.
Needs doing regularly; one missed container can restart a cycle.
